Course Renewal Information
Courses are valid and available for student access for a period of six (6) months after purchase. Students who take an online course(s) must finish the course lessons and any associated examinations for the course(s) within 180 days (6 months) from the date of enrollment. If after six months a student has not completed all the courses, Texas State Online will provide a one month extension for No Charge.
Students can extend their courses when logged into their account. Texas State Online will charge the student 20% of the current retail price of the course for each 30-day extension or partial 30-day extension in the event that the course finally terminates before the end of the final 30-day extension.
Final Expiration Date
All courses must be completed before 12 months or the work completed, if any, will be lost. Course extensions cannot be granted beyond 12 months from the original date of purchase.
Course Completion Definition
A course is only complete after the final course exam has been completed, just like in school. Students should allow a week for scheduling the final course exam with the online proctoring service.
